ABOUT GLOBAL GOSPEL FELLOWSHIP CHURCH
The Global Gospel Fellowship Church began in 1995 as a small fellowship meeting in a Primary school classroom in Masara, Migori County, Kenya. The fellowship had less than 10 members who met every Saturday for prayer and Bible teaching. In less than a year we outgrew the classroom, so we rented a building in the nearby Trading Centre. Today that fellowship meets in their own spacious building built on their own property! And now, instead of 10 members, we are a part of 10 GGFC churches! Our God is gracious!
The desire to reach more people in other places such as schools, colleges, rural and urban centres was ignited in us, so we started to preach in other places, and the response was encouraging. We saw the need to nurture believers in other places so that they could become more established in their faith.
In some areas we simply worked with those churches who were well established in The Faith, handing to their care those who were saved in our missions. In other areas we were led to plant churches and train Pastors to feed the flock. This is still what we are doing.
Our objectives are simple:
- Preach the Gospel to the World within our reach.
- Nurture believers by teaching them sound Biblical doctrine.
- Establish churches as God leads to provide fellowship for the people that have been brought to Christ.
- Train Pastors and other church leaders to make them more effective and productive.
- Rent buildings or buy land to build church buildings so these believer’s have a place to come together.
- Extend a helping hand to the needy and destitute whenever we can as instructed in James 1:27 and Galatians 2:9 – 10.
This program focuses more on widows and orphans. - Partner with other church ministries when able to increase our effectiveness in fulfilling our mandate.
We welcome individuals, churches, or other organizations, here or abroad, that would like to partner with us to help us touch more lives.
The Global Gospel Fellowship Church is registered with the registrar of Societies in Kenya and is working hand in hand with Springs of Relief Foundation to address community needs, such as the provision of clean water, electricity, and quality education, among many others.
